I have over 13 years teaching experience with grades 8 - 12, including eight years teaching 11th grade AP English Language and Composition (in conjunction with American Literature) at Ashley Hall downtown. This class has an intense focus on writing in many different modes of prose. It also includes intense practice for the AP English Language exam that takes place every May. I have also served for three years as the lead English department chair.
